Become a Heartworker

We look forward to welcoming you to the Heartland team and sharing inspiring teamwork and unforgettable experiences with you.

As a Heartworker you can choose to work before, during or after the festival. Heartworkers are the pulse of the festival, the ones that keep it all going through tasks such as standing in the bar, welcoming all our guests at the festival entrance, building, and creating the amazing festival grounds and much more.

Heartland believes that diversity is a huge strength, and we encourage everyone, regardless of age, gender, religion or ethnic background to come and join us.

If you have any questions regarding Heartworkers, you are always welcome to send us an email at frivillig@heartlandfestival.dk.

Become a Heartleader

At Heartland it is possible to expand your volunteering efforts as a Heartleader.

Our Heartleaders are given a great deal of responsibility during the festival and are co-creators of the good volunteer experience. Our Heartleaders are often given a coordinate role where they are the link between Heartworkers and the Heartland organisation. If you have previous experience or wish to work with volunteer management, we would love to hear from you.

You may also wish to work with a specific project or certain part of the festival. We are always open to new ideas and are more than happy to hear your thoughts.

Volunteer Associations

The heart of every festival is its volunteers and passionate local volunteer associations. The enormous commitment and strong sense of community spreads and rubs off on the atmosphere and content of Heartland. As an association, you become a vital part of Heartland’s DNA and development. At times it can be demanding to build and run a cultural event of such proportions. However, it creates a unique community with unforgettable experiences that strengthen the bonds between members of the association– and of course, provide a decent source of income for the association.
