Transport and parking
Public transport
Getting to Heartland by public transportation is easy and convenient. Hop on the train and get off at Kværndrup Station. Check rejseplanen.dk for updated departure times. During the festival, shuttle buses from Kværndrup Station to the festival site will run every 20 minutes or when the bus is full.
Shuttlebus
During the festival, our free shuttle bus runs between Free Parking/Kværndrup St. and Heartland’s main entrance. The bus runs every 20 minutes or when the bus is full.
Night bus
Information about night buses will be announced later.
Bus service
During Heartland, we operate buses to and from Heartland.
You are allowed to bring 1x hand luggage and 1x travelling bag. Tents and camping equipment are allowed but should be limited as much as possible. Seats are not numbered. Tickets must be presented. Arrive well in advance – no later than 10 minutes before departure.
Copenhagen /
The journey from Copenhagen to Heartland takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Departure from Copenhagen is at DGI Byen.

Odense /
The journey from Heartland to Odense takes approximately 40 minutes.

Car
Arrival by car /
The festival grounds and Egeskov Castle are a few kilometers outside of Kværndrup. If you set your GPS to Egeskov Slot, Egeskov Gade 22, 5772 Kværndrup, you will be guided the whole way. When you get to Kværndrup Station there will be free parking on your left side. From here you can take free shuttle buses to the main entrance. If you continue driving towards the main entrance, you will find paid parking on your right. Here you can pay by card. If you drive a little further down the road, you will find a drop-off area, also on your right.
Drive Together /
If you know others who are also going to Heartland, then we recommend carpooling. Carpooling means one car less on the roads, lower CO2 emissions and less complications with traffic and parking. What’s not to like?
Parking
Free parking /
It is possible to park for free at Kværndrup station. From here, shuttle buses will run to and from the festival.
Paid Parking /
Buy a parking ticket for one day or all three days. Our volunteer parking guards will be patrolling the parking areas, but we cannot guarantee that your car is always supervised. Therefore, all use of paid parking is at own risk. Paid parking is not yet on sale.
